Mosaic Annual Meeting

Dear Mosaic supporters and volunteers,

Please mark your calendars for our Annual Meeting, to be held on Tuesday, December 13, at the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce (225 Keith Street; Cleveland, TN 37320).
The meeting will begin at 2pm and is scheduled to last no longer than 90 minutes.

At this meeting, in accordance with our Charter, we plan on electing our Board of Directors and elect Officers for the upcoming year.

Pursuant to our last meeting, we will officially vote whether or not to approve a change in the Charter to allow members.  Currently, the Charter states that we are not a membership organization.  As President, I recommend that we amend Article VIII of the Charter to state:  “The Corporation will have members.”  Once approved, we will file the change with the necessary documents with the Secretary of State of Tennessee.

We will also vote on whether or not to accept a revision in the Bylaws to match the amended Charter.  As President, I recommend that we amend our Bylaws to allow for members and that we include provisions that manage our membership.

Please find a copy of the proposed Bylaws here: MOSAIC Bylaws New

Sincerely,

Christian Hoeferle, Board President Mosaic (Ocoee Region Multicultural Services)
